Powerful Women Deck
During the #powerfulwomenweek2020, an illustration challenge on Instagram, I created this illustration to embody the prompt “me time”. It was meant as a reminder to myself and others, that creativity thrives when we allow our mind to wander.
My Approach
I asked myself: What kind of artwork could I create to act as a warm, gentle nudge to not stay busy all the time and let ideas flow?
Immediately my mind went taking a long and relaxing bath – no phone & lavender scent in my nose and no one to disturb my thoughts.

Deliverables
My illustration was selected to be included in the “Powerful Women Affirmation Deck”. The deck was initiated by Lisa den Teuling and published by BIS Publishers, showcasing confirmation cards by 60 artists.
For the deck I was asked to adapt the illustration to different formats and add a description of my thought behind.
