Punch needle coasters
Exploring ways to combine illustration and handicraft techniques, I designed and hand-made coasters with flower illustrations.
I sketched out possible coaster designs and after making some tests chose four of the sketches to make into my own set of flower-themed coasters.

Using a punch needle and cotton wool in blue, orange, dark green and light yellow, I made the coasters myself.
I also created a digital illustration showing my most useful tips when working with a punch needle.
