packaging illustration for mymuesli
For mymuesli’s special edition Christmas collection, I was asked to create festive packaging illustrations for limited-edition cereal and porridge boxes. The designs should combine classic holiday motifs with the products’ natural ingredients, using bold colors and playful characters to spark seasonal joy and stand out on shelves.

My creative approach
I started collecting ideas for more traditional approaches, like Christmas ornaments and gingerbread, as well as some unconventional designs, like one where I used croc shoes with Christmas charms as stockings to hold presents.
The final designs
The client wanted to go the more traditional route, choosing my sketches with ornaments, Christmas trees, presents and stars as the look for the cereal and porridge boxes. I then created the final illustrations, adding handlettering elements and charms, as well as little dots and stars, that were embossed with gold foil on the boxes.
How my designs were used
I created packaging illustrations for 4 cereal boxes and 3 porridge boxes. In addition to that elements from my designs were used for mymuesli’s annual advent calendar, for their website, social media profiles and advertising of the Chritmas flavor products.

mymuesli is a German company producing organic cereals and snacks. They’re known for their high-quality products using only natural ingredients, without adding palm oil or artificial flavors and their joyful brand and packaging design.
